The brief for this project required print materials including a poster to be designed, to promote the Spring 2024 Concert Series at Spokane Falls Community College.
Using a bold split-color palette of deep blue and warm yellow, the design is intended to grab attention while visually representing musical energy through a stylized, abstract treble clef that dissolves into a burst particles . The important information needed to be clearly structured, and accessible for a broad audience to understand. With the concert dates listed chronologically on the right, and ticket and venue details placed on the left, concert details are structured to carry hierarchy per importance, and naturally follow the passing of time. The dynamic layout and use of contrasting typography helps communicate both the creativity of the musicians and professionalism, inviting the viewer to engage with the events offered throughout the week.
