The blackletter typography piece titled Venom is an ambigram that reads Woman when flipped upside down. I designed this to explore duality. power and softness, venom and vulnerability. All coexisting in a single wordmark. The sharp, angular strokes of the blackletter style help communicate intensity, while the mirrored ambigram structure brings a subtle elegance to the design. It was a challenging but rewarding process to make both words legible without sacrificing the gothic tone I was attempting. This piece pushes the idea of type as both visual expression and layered meaning.
